During our recent family vacation at Pension-Albergue Don Alvaro, we were welcomed in a relaxed atmosphere perfect for families. Staying in one of the bright corner units on the second floor, we enjoyed stunning views while being just steps from the Camino. One evening, we gathered around the fireplace in the hospitality area, where my kids had a blast making new friends and even strumming a guitar! Monica, the owner, facilitated a cozy gathering, allowing us to connect with fellow travelers, which was a highlight. The well-maintained garden, complete with a serene lily pond, was a lovely spot for the kids to explore while I enjoyed a moment of tranquility. Our family ventured out to enjoy hiking and golfing nearby, adding a sense of adventure to our stay. A memorable moment was when we accidentally misplaced a wallet. The staff made all efforts to help us locate it, even extending a kind offer to support us for the journey. While we did eventually find it, that thoughtful gesture will remain with us. This hotel offers a welcoming environment for families cherishing memorable experiences together.
